Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is a great honor to invite you to the 2021 Korea Academy of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases International Conference (KATRDIC 2021), which will be held at Lotte Hotel World in Seoul, Korea from November 11 to 12, 2021.

KATRDIC 2020, which was first held under the name of the International Academic Conference last year, was held in a virtual format to wisely cope with the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation. It was regrettable that we couldn't meet participants in person, but 1,405 participants from 25 countries around the world attended the event while maintaining a safe distance from each other within the free, online framework. This was possible thanks to prominent experts from neighboring countries and around the world who actively participated and provided their generous support.

In order to continue the academic presentations and discussion, which is the unique purpose of this year's conference, we have decided to prepare and respond to the changing COVID-19 situation with stability and efficiency. Therefore, KATRDIC 2021 will be held in a hybrid format, both online and offline. The conference will consist of live on-site lectures by domestic speakers and pre-recorded lectures by overseas speakers.

KATRDIC 2021 will be a great opportunity for us to keep up with the rapidly changing developments and innovations in the field of tuberculosis and respiratory studies. It will also be a meaningful place to discuss the latest trends and more, including the ever-changing healthcare environment. We believe we can overcome difficult times together and achieve global cooperation.
